Skittle Valentine's Day Nails.

I decided to start early on trying different Valentine's Day manicure ideas. For this design I brought out my stamping plates (something I haven't done in quite a while) and also added some freehanded dots. 

The plates I used were Bundle Monster BM02 (I heart U and the lips), BM03 (the group of 3 hearts), and Born Pretty Store m59 (the bows and the rest of the hearts.)

The polishes I used were Essie Boom Boom Room, China Glaze Rich & Famous, Sally Hansen Hard To Get, Mary Kay Radiant Red, Konad Special White Polish, and a Born Pretty Store red stamping polish.

I wasn't sure how I'd end up feeling about the manicure and combining a bunch of different images from different plates, but I think these turned out vey cute!

Burn Book Nails.

Who doesn't love Mean Girls? Who hasn't seen it a million times? So what could possibly make a better manicure theme?

As I hinted at yesterday, today's nails are designed after the burn book.

I decided to make the base color really pop, so I used China Glaze Pink Voltage over CG Shocking Pink. The lettering is all done with Wet n Wild Ebony Hates Chris and Sally Hansen Whirlwind White. The grunginess was achieved with OPI Black Shatter and China Glaze Cracked Concrete. Lastly, the lips are Sally Hansen Wild Life with CND Effects Raspberry Sparkle on top.

Usually I take all my nail photos on my digital camera, but I realized the colors came out much more accurate on my iPhone, so I thought I'd throw this photo in too. 

Red Kiss Nails.

After being inspired by this blog post, I decided to break out both my stamping plates and the tape.

The red polish is CND Flashpoint. I don't usually paint my nails red, but this is a really nice shade and it has a great formula. I used tape to do my accent nail, the white is my typical Sally Hansen Whirlwind White and the black is Wet n Wild Black Creme.

For the lip print I stamped using BM-12. First I did the lips with Konad Special White Polish and then I stamped the same image on top with CND Flashpoint.
